WHAT IS BARNSTORMING?

On my site, you will read about fun facts about Barnstormers and many other famous pilots.
I have included a Blog featuring my writing; I post almost daily about different subjects and poems and some comments about my posts.

Barnstormers were pilots that flew in County Fairs, gave rides to paying customers and many were pilots that flew in World War One and were promoting aviation. Many pilots spent many years trying to establish flying services to teach people flying lessons and promote aviation. Many pilots were trying to help establish airplane service for travel and also trying to establish a mail service in the United States. These pilots were fearless and many times landed in farmers fields, followed the train tracks to navigate and were their own mechanics.

BARNSTORMING

Barnstormingblog

I will be adding my on going research about Barnstorming, which referred to pilots who traveled around the country side drumming up business in the way of rides and flying lessons; in the 1920's and 30's. Flying was their passion, although they needed the money to fund their profession and make a name for themselves.
I have added information about Tex Rankin, Floyd Kelso and different subjects concerning aviation.
I'm including my writing which is a passion of mines.
I hope you'll enjoy my content, it is on going research and my writing is usually daily.
