Amelia Earhart

Amelia Earhart was a pioneering aviator and author who became the first female pilot to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. She was also the first woman to receive the Distinguished Flying Cross for this record-breaking achievement. Earhart set many other records and wrote best-selling books about her flying experiences. Tragically, she disappeared in 1937 while attempting to circumnavigate the globe, and her fate remains a mystery to this day. Amelia Earhart's courage and achievements continue to inspire and captivate people worldwide.
