This is my political statement.

Updated: Sep 18

I’ve read and read and kept up with the news feeds. I have an Apple subscription to access many of our magazines and newspapers. I love the subscriptions and magazines and highly recommend Apple Access to anybody who wants to be in touch with the elections.  After reading about elections in these publications, I concluded:

Any person, entity, or organization that protects the Constitution and upholds the law has my vote of confidence…period.!

I wrote this today/18 Sept 2024

Look at yourself in the mirror. I do, now and then. I see someone much older than myself, a quiet believer in Law and order and protecting the Constitution. I see an end to all our everyday lives only if a particular person is elected. The future could be like riding on a bumpy road, worrying that you’d have to change a tire that gave up the ghost, and then hoping you’ll not have another flat, leaving you stranded in who knows where. The bumpy road is our insecurity about the future. The car is our security in this world.  Your tires are the only thing keeping you on the road; they stand between success and failure. If the spare goes, it’s like a total breakdown of our security, rendering our car no longer a sanctuary or haven of peace. The future is uncertain.  It could go either way. We can protect our tires by driving slower and carefully, not taking risks of tire failure. (maybe I'm talking about the former president, who starts with a T) Ric
